"To patrol the county, respond to calls, and capture stray puppies and dogs using the best available methods."

"To assist the general public with the redemption of lost puppies and dogs."

"To work with the general public and rescue organizations in the placement of adoptable puppies and dogs."

"To educate the general public in the areas of responsible pet ownership, spaying/neutering, and bite avoidance."
Operating hours

Pound (kennel) hours:
10:00 AM to 4:00 PM - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
10:00 AM to 6:00 PM - Wednesday
Closed Sunday and Holidays

Office staffed from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM - Monday through Friday (closed Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays).
No phone service on Wednesdays after 4:30 PM and no phone service on Saturdays.

All calls after 4:30 PM on Monday through Friday (and all day Saturday, Sunday and Holidays) will be handled by our answering service for emergency-only problems.
