ADOPTION MISSION STATEMENT
The Adoption Unit of the Stark County Department of Job & Family Services believes that every child has the right to a permanent, loving home with a family who provides nurturance, security and protection.  We will thoughtfully develop plans for  children who come into the permanent custody of the agency.  This department is committed to providing quality services to these children that will promote their physical, cultural, emotional, spiritual and developmental well-being.  Through an educational and supportive process, we will strive to develop, strengthen and empower compassionate adoptive families to parent our children now and in the future.
