Welcome to the Stark County Recorder’s Office. Our primary service to you, the citizens, is providing an official record of all of the real estate located in Stark County.
In my ongoing effort to provide the most convenient public access, while safeguarding your records, the real estate indexes & images are now available on-line. The archive search allows you to search real estate indexes & images dating back to 1809. This will provide for a 201-year search over the internet. I am pleased to provide you with this new service as it will provide 24-hour access to 201 years of land history in Stark County and also relieve you of the $2.00 per page copy fee, as copies retrieved over the internet are free of charge.
Not only can you search Stark County's rich history online, you may now record your documents electronically with my office. I am excited to be the first recorder in the state of Ohio to provide electronic recording of all documents filed in the Recorder's Office. This includes the filing of deeds as we now have a program in conjunction with the Auditor's Office to perform conveyances via the internet. You can now search records and record documents with our office 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To learn more about electronic filing of documents, or to schedule an installation of the program to allow you to begin to file electronically, simply call my office.
